Cine Digitar Anamorphic 1.33x Kino-Linear Lens Slide
Cine Digitar Anamorphic 1.33x Kino-Linear Lens Slide Cine Digitar Zoom Converter
The Cine Digitar 1.33x lens is used to create widescreen images with digital projectors, without letterboxing.

1.33x anamorphics are primarily used to create 2.35 (Cinemascope®) aspect ratio images with 16x9 projectors. This eliminates the need to 'letterbox' the picture and the resulting black bars above and below the image.

Since all of the projector's pixels are being used to create the active image, that image will be larger and brighter with maximum resolution. The lens can also be used to expand 4:3 images to a 16:9 aspect ratio.

(Cinemascope is a registered trademark of 20th Century Fox Corporation.)

The Kino-Linear™ is a motorized mechanism that moves a lens into and out of the light path of a digital projector.

Lens deployment can be automated with a 12 volt trigger or contact closure, when used in connection with an appropriate projector, scaler or control system. This is the ideal device for the deployment of anamorphic lenses to create true 2.35 aspect ratio (Cinemascope®) images, without those annoying black bars . The Kino-Linear™ mechanism is ruggedly constructed to satisfy the most demanding home theater or corporate screening room applications.

The Kino- Linear™ has adjustments for displacement, pitch, yaw, and roll so ideal lens alignment can be achieved. It is designed to be used with Schneider Optics' Cine Digitar anamorphic lenses (above) for the best combination of mechanical reliability and optical quality. Mounting plates for most popular projectors are available.

The Schneider 1.1x-1.4x zoom tele-converter lens allows you to place the projector 10%-40% farther away from the screen and maintain the same image width or reduce your picture size while projecting from the same distance. The unique zoom feature allows you to optimize projector placement and picture size.

Cine-Digitar converters feature a unique mechanical design that makes mounting simple. Unique flat surfaces allow you to simply set the lens on a table in front of the projector. Threaded mounting holes allow you to bolt your converter to a stand, a table or to a custom bracket.
